What to Expect

When you arrive, there's ample street parking at the farm. Check in with the farmer (AJ), and you'll be given a tour of the farm to see what's growing and which flowers are blooming this time of year (with over 60 kinds of flowers growing at Flower Boy Farm & 200+ colors/varieties, there will be different blooms each week!). You'll be given the supplies you need to harvest and carry your flowers in the field, as well as taught a lesson about how to harvest these blooms yourself.

Once you're equipped with your tools and the knowledge to harvest, you'll be able to explore the field at your own pace and help yourself to the many flowers that are blooming at the farm. When you're done picking your flowers, feel free to use our workshop space to design your own arrangement, and maybe meet a new flower friend.

Do's & Don'ts

Do:

• Dress comfortably for the weather

• Wear close toed shoes

• Bring a water bottle

• Take as many pictures as you like - you're at a flower farm after all!

• Expect to see nature; including birds, bees and maybe some other bugs

  
  

Don't:

• Bring children under 5 (the flowers are easy for young kiddos to damage)

• Mind the occasional weed

• Forget to bring a jar or vase to take the flowers home in, though we've got extras in a pinch. Well-hydrated flowers last the longest
